My August Sephora Play Box arrived while I was out of town, but to come home to goodies is always a plus! Now I have spoken about this box before in a previous post. The Play Box is through Sephora, it is a $10 box filled with samples goodies from their brands they carry in store. I feel it is a great way to see simple things you may like and try them out before you may want to buy them!
So first off I’ll talk about the blender (little green tear drop). I have used a blender before and I think they are amazing for blending in your foundation with your highlighter and everything. It makes fora smoother look rather than leaving streaks all on your face from brushes!
Next we have the Life in the Lash Lane. It is a two sided lash primer and mascara for longer lasting eye looks. It preps your lashes by moisturizing them for longer lasting look. Apply the primer first going upward then the mascara after with a few coats of it. Just like that you’ll have amazing lashes. It is by Clinique definitely a must have for longer lasting lashes.
Third we have Into Skin Air, it is a foundation by Hourglass. It is highly pigmented foundation with the coverage of a concealer,smoothness of a liquid, and weightlessness of a powder. You want to start with a small amount and add more as you need it. Lightly dot around your face and use the blender to blend it in. Find your color and go for it!
Next the Focus on Krocus it is the little green looking bottle. The protein anti-aging serum is by Korres it is infused with antioxidant-rich Greek saffron visibly reduces the appearance of fine lines for a youthful, smooth complexion. It would work great if you’re used to being out in the sun and squinting while creating those lines on your forehead or eyes. Definitely makes for a great use!
Fifth in the box was the Up in the Hair volume mist, by Alterna Haircare. It is a lightweight hairstyling most adds volume and texture to hair while strengthening and softening for full, lustrous, night-out-worthy strands. Who doesn’t want their hair to be amazing looking all night while at the club or a party with some friends?
Lastly I have Enriched In Scent by Burberry. I totally tested this perfume out on Christopher the first time I opened it. He usually is my tester for perfumes he sometimes comes out smelling atrocious. But hey I needed to test them. Any who it is inspired by the iconic Burberry trench coat, the fragrance features a seductive bland of jasmine, candied rose. And amber. I absolutely LOVE the smell!
The Play Box is just $10 a month and I would say it’s a great monthly subscription!

I was in Stockton for a couple days and being there it was hotter than heck. Being back in Susanville it’s so much cooler and honestly I’ve been a little freezing. Still not used to this weather even after spending some time here last winter. I’m in for a rude awakening this winter. Anywho I love beanies. I have quite a bit of them just like I do hats. I have an assortment or beanies and ear warmers. I love wearing beanies during the winter not only do they had your messy hair but they are a great accessory to add to your comfy winter and fall wardrobe.
